What Is Eid ul Fitr
Eid ul Fitr marks the end of the Islamic month of Ramadan in which Muslims all around the world keep fasts for 30 days. At the end, they celebrate with 3 days of festivity called Eid ul Fitr. It is also called Meethi (sweet) Eid. The morning usually starts by eating something sweet like Firni or Sheer Khurma, thus the name.
Where Eid ul Adha (Festival of Sacrifice) is mostly about meaty dishes especially comprising of red meat, Eid ul Fitr is more about sweets and celebratory food. Do hop over to The Ultimate Bakra Eid Recipes Collection for more ideas.
